In 1995 Joseph Fratesi co-founded Atlas Industries, an award-winning design and fabrication studio recognized for its poetically minimalist furniture and storage systems. Over its 30-year history Atlas became synonymous with timeless design, exceptional craft and a deep respect for material integrity, setting the benchmark for American studio furniture.

In 2025 Fratesi stepped away from active involvement with Atlas to start a new project. The launch of 333 Co. is a natural distillation that will bring the long-held values at the core of Atlas to lighting.
